KMD HAS CHANGED ITS NAME

We’re writing to tell you that KMD Outdoor Construction has changed its name to KMD Outdoor Spaces. It’s a subtle change, but better reflects what we do, our award-winning projects, the interdependence of our specialised skillsets, and how we apply them to creating outdoor spaces.

It’s an exciting time to be in landscaping, with so much attention refocused on the home. We take seriously our role of constructing a well-built framework – the scaffold – for a landscape to endure over time.

Since 1998, our small team have been lucky enough to work with some visionary clients and leading landscape designers and architects. That’s lead us to working on some pretty spectacular and challenging sites – from the Sydney harbour front to coastal cliffs and we relish those challenges.

Sometimes that means solving unforeseen site problems, sometimes it means understanding the natural geology of these places, particularly when working with concrete and stone. It also means understanding the tell-tale signs when a pool or retaining wall might be starting to lose its structural integrity – which can radically alter a project scope. These things aren’t intuitive, they come with over two decades of experience. 

So, although we’ve refreshed our name and branding, what hasn’t changed is dedication to craftsmanship, clients and quality builds.
